Suspect in Auto Burglaries Captured

On September 18th, 2019, Bradley County Sheriff’s Office Detectives Rusty Bryant and Jerry Rogers, with the assistance of the East Ridge Police Department, arrested fugitive James Edward Polk in East Ridge.

Polk was wanted for his involvement in the auto burglaries that occurred on September 5th, 2019, in the Tasso Community in Bradley County.

Polk is currently charged with 39 counts of felony auto burglary as well as numerous thefts.

The Bradley County Sheriff’s Office would like to thank the residents who submitted tips and information relating to this investigation. The BCSO is committed to partnering with citizens in order to maintain a safe community.
