Cleveland Utilities closes offices; extends drive-thru hours

As part of the ongoing effort to prevent the spread of COVID-19, Cleveland Utilities has enacted the following precautionary steps:

  • Effective March 19th, Cleveland Utilities’ lobby area will be closed to the public. This will not affect the level of service customers have come to expect from Cleveland Utilities.
  • Cleveland Utilities’ drive-thru will remain open, and will operate with extended hours from 7AM-7PM Monday through Friday to be able to better assist customers.
  • Business transactions can be handled online via the Cleveland Utilities website, or over the telephone by calling 423-472-4521. Cleveland Utilities has reorganized staffing to more quickly address all concerns via these methods of interaction. The Cleveland Utilities call center is open 24/7 and representatives are available to assist in any way possible.
  • Cleveland Utilities has four (4) 24/7 payment kiosks: Three are located at the main office (2450 Guthrie Avenue), and one is located at the Bowater Credit Union (4531 Hardwick Farms Parkway).
  • Cleveland Utilities utilizes the MyUsage Mobile App (Android app linkApple app link) where customers can obtain information about consumption and make payments.
  • Where face-to-face business is required for signature or other purposes, we will make necessary arrangements through our 24-hour call center to accommodate those needs.
