CRIMINAL CAUGHT IN THE ACT!

On August 12th, 2021, Detectives and Special Agents of the Tennessee Department of Corrections were attempting to locate Cody Ballinger, who had an active parole violation warrant.

During their investigation, they received information that indicated the fugitive was in the Black Fox Community area. The investigators located a home that appeared to have been burglarized and caught the fugitive, Cody Ballinger, as he attempted to flee the scene of the burglary.

The property owner was able to recover all stolen items related to this case. Ballinger had also been arrested on August 2nd, 2021, for aggravated burglary and theft, after which he was released on a $75,000 bond. Subsequent to his release, the Tennessee Department of Corrections obtained a no-bond warrant for his arrest for violation of parole.

Cody Ballinger was booked into the Bradley County Jail for his active parole violation warrant, as well as new charges of Aggravated Burglary and Theft Under $1,000.
